North Sea Gas is a Scottish Folk trio (Dave Gilfillan, Ronnie MacDonald and Grant Simpson) from Edinburgh and they have already played at the castle in summer 2015. We liked the band so much that we decided to invite them to play here again. You missed it the last season? Well, then make sure you note this down in your calendar for 2016! You shouldn't miss it this time.
Come by at 6.30 pm and listen to this great folk music!
Entrance fee: 10 € per person (if reserved in advance; payment can still be made on the day at the door)
12 € per person (if paid at the door without previous reservation)
Drinks & snacks will be served.
As a member of the German association of historical houses and gardens of Saxony-Anhalt we are happy to announce that we are also participating in the Open Castle Day. We invite you to visit the inside of the castle and admire its antique and luxurious style. Lord James Welsh and his wife Ingrid Straub-Zerfowski will show you around the castle themselves and will provide you with stories of this old building.
On this day we will also be celebrating the anniversary of the statue of the Holy Mary in our castle courtyard, which has been a blessing for us for the 5 past years!
Programme for the day:
- castle tours: hourly from 1 pm - 5 pm
- coffee/tea & English specialties will be served in our newly opened English Cottage Café
- presentation about the natural art of healing by Dutch-German healer Trudy Verydenberger (entrance fee on donation basis)
We hope to see you there
On this day you will get to live the experiences of Andy Alony who has travelled through South India and who wants to share his stories with the rest of the world.
Listen to his stories, look at the pictures of beaches, the Andaman Islands, encounters with people and their traditions, and you will immediately want to fly to India.
We also offer coffee/tea & cake for anyone who is thirsty or/and hungry.
The presentation starts at 2 pm & will be mainly held in German.
Please sign up via firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone on +49 (0)34609 234 38.
See you then!
